     Measuring student progress on standards and benchmarks is a matter of importance and concern to everyone in New Jersey.  Learnia was created by Pearson, Incorporated.

     Learnia is a seamless integration of formative and summative assessments which has two basic components:  Class Views (TM) to measure progress toward our specific state accountability standards and Class Links (TM) that identify specific areas where students are having trouble.  Learnia utilizes Answer Analysis, an assessment innovation that uses incorrect responses to diagnose misunderstandings and provide the teacher with critical information on how, when, and where to target instruction.  (Pearson, 2008)
